Sophia -
Yoga Teacher
Sophia was born and raised in Sun Valley, Idaho, where a life filled with athletic adventures and time spent outdoors first inspired her connection to the body, mind, and natural world. Nature has always felt like her church and continues to shape the way she moves through life and teaches today.
Sophia’s yoga journey began at the age of eleven, and over the years the practice became a source of healing, grounding, and transformation. Yoga changed her life and inspired her passion for helping others reconnect with themselves both on and off the mat.
She studied Biology with a minor in Environmental Science while teaching yoga throughout college, and later completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali through House of OM. Sophia is currently teaching barre and yoga at Mangala while continuing her education in trauma-informed yoga and personal training.
Her classes are rooted in human connection, mindfulness, and empowerment. Sophia loves encouraging students to reflect on how their practice on the mat mirrors the way they move through everyday life. She strives to create welcoming classes that leave students feeling strong, grounded, connected, and always smiling.
