Since 2011, Maureen DeLucia has guided hundreds of students through her internationally recognized 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, helping aspiring teachers deepen their practice, find their authentic voice, and confidently step into the role of a yoga instructor.

Joining her is Jade Rieves, who has been teaching yoga since 2014. As Lead Teacher at Good Yoga San Diego and a Mangala Yoga Teacher Training graduate, Jade brings a passion for intelligent movement, thoughtful sequencing, and compassionate instruction, creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment for every student.

Throughout the training, you'll immerse yourself in yoga philosophy, functional anatomy, the subtle body, pranayama, meditation, intelligent Vinyasa sequencing, purposeful cueing, and the art of teaching with confidence and authenticity.

This program is about far more than learning poses. You'll cultivate a deeper understanding of yoga, strengthen your personal practice, and gain practical teaching skills that prepare you to lead meaningful classes while embodying the principles of yoga in everyday life.

One of the hallmarks of this training is Mangala Yoga's signature Vinyasa methodology—a thoughtful and intelligent approach to sequencing that has helped make Mangala Yoga one of Maui and Telluride’s longest-running and most respected yoga communities.

By graduation, you'll have complete ready-to-teach class sequences, refined communication and cueing skills, hands-on teaching experience, and the confidence to lead safe, creative, and inspiring yoga classes.

Maureen DeLucia

Maureen DeLucia is the founder of Mangala Yoga and has dedicated her life to helping others discover the transformative power of yoga. With more than 30 years of personal practice and over 15 years leading Yoga Alliance-certified teacher trainings, she believes yoga is more than movement—it's a lifelong path of self-discovery, healing, and connection.

Since founding Mangala Yoga in 2011, Maureen has built thriving yoga communities in Maui and Telluride while creating Yoga Alliance-certified teacher training programs that have inspired hundreds of students to deepen their practice and become confident, compassionate teachers. Her teaching blends intelligent movement, traditional yoga philosophy, anatomy, and mindful sequencing into an experience that is both accessible and deeply transformative.

Drawing from years of study in Vinyasa Flow, Anusara, Iyengar, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and Tantric Philosophy, Maureen encourages students to move with awareness, curiosity, and intention. Her background in massage therapy, anatomy, and kinesiology allows her to teach with a deep understanding of how the body moves, helping students build strength, mobility, and confidence while honoring their unique journey.

Known for her warmth, authenticity, and engaging teaching style, Maureen creates an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired. Whether leading a community class, an immersive workshop, or a teacher training, her goal is the same: to help students cultivate a deeper relationship with themselves, both on and off the mat.

Today, Maureen continues to teach, mentor, and develop educational programs while sharing Mangala Yoga's mission of creating spaces where people can grow, connect, and thrive. In addition to leading classes and teacher trainings, she is expanding Mangala Yoga's educational partnerships, helping bring its proven Yoga Alliance-certified curriculum and teaching methodology to independent studios across the country.

Jade Rieves

Jade Rieves is the Lead Teacher at Good Yoga San Diego and a proud graduate of Mangala Yoga's 200-Hour Teacher Training. Teaching since 2014, she brings the spirit of aloha from Hawaii to the Encinitas community, creating classes that inspire healing, self-discovery, and authentic connection.

Rooted in the heart of Bhakti Yoga, Jade's teaching is guided by devotion, compassion, and surrender. Her classes weave together conscious breath, Sanskrit chanting, mindful movement, and thoughtful self-inquiry, inviting students to explore the transformative power of connecting deeply with themselves.

Drawing from both traditional yogic wisdom and modern somatic practices, Jade skillfully blends nervous system awareness, pranayama, and intelligent Vinyasa sequencing into an experience that is both grounding and empowering. She encourages students of all levels to move with intention, trust their body's innate wisdom, and cultivate greater presence on and off the mat.

Jade creates a warm, inclusive space where every student feels supported, seen, and inspired to grow. Her classes foster self-compassion, curiosity, and a deep reverence for the unique journey that yoga offers.
